Theme

At first I thought that theme was the moral of the story but I learned that this was wrong.
Actually, theme is the central idea or insight about life and human nature that gives the story meaning. Some themes are universal which means that they are commonly found in the literature of all cultures and ages; the five main genres of literature are non-fiction, fiction, poetry, drama and myth. Since I now understand theme, I can find the theme of my favorite movie. My favorite movie is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. The theme of this movie is “love will always triumph over evil”. On my theme pretest, I was below grade level. On my theme post test I hope that I will be at least at grade level.

When I grow up.

when i grow up i don't really want a whole lot of things...but here is a list of things i do want

*i want to go to college and get a better education.

*i eventually want to get married and have 3 kids

*i i want to become an actress or something of the sort just so i can help bring issues into the light that otherwise would be kept in the dark.

"Second Quarter Goals 2008."

This quarter, I will do my homework more often. In order to achieve this, I will start my homework earlier and I will not stop until it is complete.

This quarter, I will stop talking as much to other people. In order to achieve this, I will focus on my work and not let anyone distract me.

This quarter, I will try to earn better grades. In order to achieve this, I will try to complete my homework and study more.
